Preparing students for productive careers and lives of meaning and purpose during their academic life and post Graduation. Providing advice as well as networking events that expose students to great opportunities that will enable students to chat their career path to become reliable citizens also to facilitating economic growth through employment and entrepreneurship.

JOB SEARCH TRAINING
26TH MARCH 2019: The office organized training for the graduating class. Topics covered included how to write curriculum vitae, how to prepare for an interview and how to search for online jobs among others. The guest was Arg. Ida munano.
BENCHMARKING AT KENYATTA UNIVERSITY
On 11TH June 2019, the office of career services was hosted by Kenyatta University and was taken through a benchmarking. The choice of Kenyatta University was the fact that its office of Career Services has been in operation since 2006.
A VISIT BY TECHNOLOGY PRIMARY SCHOOL
On 7th October 2019, the neighbouring technology Primary school visited the University and was hosted and taken around to familiarize them with a University setting.
VISIT BY KANJIUDUTHI HIGH SCHOOL
On 4th October 2019, Kanjiuduthi High School was hosted by office of career services Murang’a University of Technology for a motivational visit.
YALI INFORMATION SESSION WORKSHOP
On 15th November 2019, the office hosted Yali officers (Young African Leaders Initiative) the East African Chapter. Students were trained and exposed to available opportunities under YALI. The officers exposed students on the existing American programs that are availed to students who have gone through the YALI program successfully.
