Customer Service Delivery Charter

This Service Charter is a social contract, commitment, and agreement between the Murang’a University of Technology and her Customers. It is a written and signed document which sets out the different facets of the MUT roles and responsibilities to improve performance, enhance and fast-track the delivery of services.

The University is ISO 9001:2015 certified. Because our processes and systems follow internationally accepted standards, we are extremely confident that MUT remains faithful in delivering quality education. Being ISO 9001:2015 certified is a proof that our students are assured of an outstanding education backed up with processes that comply with international standards. The standard provides guidance and tools that ensure our products and services consistently meet customers’ requirements, and that quality is continually improved.

The University got certified to the ISO/IEC 27001:2013 standard in 2023. The Information Security Management System (ISMS) implemented has controls necessary to ensure that the University prudently protect the confidentiality, availability, and integrity of information assets from threats and vulnerabilities. The ISMS is comprehensive and has met the rigorous international standards outlined by the International Organization for Standardizations (ISO). A risk management-based approach to information security is adopted that empowers the administrative organs to oversee and control the handling of the information assets.

Murang'a University of Technology Mandate
