OUR SERVICES:

Guidance and Counselling office is geared towards ensuring our students and staff members are psychologically healthy through Guidance and Counselling services and psycho-educative programmes. We are aimed at empowering the client to attain his/her full potential and maintain daily normal functioning and live a more satisfying life, contribute to the self knowledge, understanding, determination, realization,   acceptance and self development of the individual by identifying his/her abilities, interests, attitudes, values, potentialities and developing them to the fullest. More importantly offer counselling services to assists the clients to resolve their issues and cope with situations. The office also serves as secretariat to two committees that is: Alcohol and Drug Abuse (ADA) and AIDS Control Unit (ACU).

Guidance and Counselling handles both self referred clients and those referred by other university departments. The office has good cordial working relationship with other Murang’a University of Technology Departments such as the Health Unit and others both in academic and administrative divisions.
