Welcome to the School of Hospitality and Tourism Management (SHTM). It is one of the oldest academic units having been established as the Department of Institutional Management which has since grown to a School over the years.
Hospitality &Tourism industry is one of the largest foreign exchange earners in Kenya and contributes 10% to the GDP as well as the economy. The local industry in Kenya faces challenges in meeting the needs of National tourism development agendas and Vision 2030.
