The Office of Registrar, Academic, Research and Student Affairs is charged with the responsibility of coordinating teaching, planning, research, development and management of academic programmes, development and design of curricula, ensuring quality instruction and assessment of student, and overseeing the administration of student welfare services among others.
The specific responsibilities of the Office of Registrar (ARSA) include:
- Admission of Government Sponsored students through Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS)
- Admission of Privately Sponsored students (PSS)
- Registration of students
- Coordination of teaching including time tabling.
- Coordination of the examination process
- Coordination of the graduation process
- Students’ clearance
- Maintenance of student records
