University Fee Accounts

Application fees and University fees should be paid to the following Murang’a University of Technology Accounts’  Numbers.

Bank Accounts

• 1. Kenya Commercial Bank, account number 1107198356 – Murang’a Branch or any other KCB Branch country wide OR
  2. Equity Bank, Account Number 0220273636188 Murang’a Branch or any other Branch of Equity country wide OR
  3. Co-operative Bank of Kenya, Account Number 01129573999200 Murang’a Branch or any other branch of Co-perative Bank of Kenya country wide.

The University, in an effort to provide an efficient and convenient fee collection service, has opened a Pay-bill Account Number 4070101 with Safaricom Limited for fee collection purposes only. This is in addition to the various banks accounts currently in use and is aimed to improve the service delivery.

M-Pesa Paybill

• • Go to M-PESA menu 
  • Select Lipa na M-PESA option
  • Click Pay Bill option
  • Enter MUT M-PESA Business:  4070101
  • Enter Account Number:
  • Enter your Student Registration Number in full, as the Account Number (e.g BE231/XXXX/2019 )
  • Enter the Amount you wish to pay
  • Enter your secret M-PESA PIN
  • Check to confirm you have input the correct details and send
  • Wait for M-PESA confirmation of the payment.

NOTE

1. For each payment done, Safaricom sends you a confirmation message.
2. Do not delete the confirmation message until after you are issued with an official University receipt by the Student Finance Officer
